Privacy Policy
Applies to the mobile game Quiz Garden (Android package com.mquizgameapp.quiz) and this website. Last updated: September 3, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains, in deliberately broad and conservative terms, what information may be collected, used, shared and stored when you install or use the app, and what advertising and device permissions you should expect. We describe the widest set of practices that could apply so you are never surprised: not every item below is used at all times, and some depend on your device, region, app version and the third-party services active at the time.
The app is free and is funded by advertising. If you do not agree with this policy, do not install or use the app, and please uninstall it — see our Uninstall Guide.
1. Summary
- The app displays ads, including full-screen ads, and may show them frequently.
- Ads and analytics involve third parties that may collect identifiers and device data, including for personalized (interest-based) advertising.
- The app may request a broad set of device permissions; every permission it may request is listed in section 6.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or your local equivalent).
- You can opt out of personalized ads and reset your advertising ID at any time.
2. Information we and our partners may collect
Information you provide
- Nickname or profile name you choose in-game.
- Support messages, bug reports, feedback and any attachments you send us.
- Email address if you contact us or subscribe to updates.
- Purchase confirmations processed by the app store (we never receive card details).
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data: device model, manufacturer, operating system and version, language, region, time zone, screen size, orientation, RAM/storage class, battery and charging state, CPU/GPU characteristics, and whether the device is rooted or an emulator.
- Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID/AAID), app-set ID, app instance ID, randomly generated installation IDs, session IDs, and (where applicable and permitted) coarse network identifiers such as IP address and mobile carrier or network type.
- Usage and gameplay data: app opens, session start/end and duration, levels started, completed and failed, hints and skips used, coins earned and spent, buttons and screens viewed, settings changed, crash and error logs, performance traces, ANRs, and referral or install attribution data.
- Advertising data: ad requests, ad impressions, ad clicks, ad view duration, rewarded-ad completions, ad placement, ad revenue estimates, frequency-capping data, mediation and bidding signals, and fraud/invalid-traffic signals.
- Approximate location inferred from IP address (country/region/city level). Precise GPS location is not required for gameplay; if a feature ever needs it, the app will ask for your explicit permission first and you can decline.
3. Advertising — please read carefully
The app is ad-supported and advertising is a core, unavoidable part of the free experience. You should expect to see all of the following ad formats:
- Banner ads displayed persistently at the top or bottom of game screens.
- Interstitial ads — full-screen ads that appear at natural breaks such as between levels, after failing a level, when returning to the app, or on app launch. These may include a short non-skippable countdown before a close button appears.
- Rewarded video ads you may choose to watch to receive hints, coins, extra lives or to continue a level.
- Rewarded interstitials, app-open ads, native ads and in-feed/in-content ads blended into the interface.
- Playable and interactive ads, audio ads, and cross-promotions for our own or partners' apps.
- Offer walls or partner offers, where a third party may set its own terms and collect its own data if you participate.
Ad frequency, timing, placement and volume may change at any time without notice, including through remote configuration and A/B testing, and may increase or decrease between app versions. Ads may open external browsers, app stores or third-party apps when tapped. Ads may auto-play video, and may play sound when your device volume is on. Ad content is supplied by third parties: we do not create it, do not endorse it, and cannot guarantee its accuracy, quality, suitability or the practices of any advertiser or landing page you reach.
Ads may be personalized (interest-based). This means our ad partners may use your advertising identifier, device data, inferred approximate location and behavioural signals — including data collected across other apps and websites — to profile interests and select ads, measure performance, cap frequency and detect fraud. In regions requiring consent, a consent dialog (for example a Google-certified CMP under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) is shown on first launch and your choices are stored on your device and transmitted to ad partners. You can change or withdraw consent from the app's settings where that option is offered.
Ad and monetization partners may include, without limitation, Google AdMob / Google Ad Manager / Google AdSense, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, AppLovin / MAX, ironSource / Unity LevelPlay, Vungle (Liftoff), Mintegral, InMobi, Pangle / TikTok for Business, Chartboost, Digital Turbine / Fyber, Smaato, Yandex Ads, Liftoff, Moloco and other exchanges, bidders, SSPs, DSPs and mediation partners added over time. Each partner acts under its own privacy policy for the data it collects. Our app-ads.txt file lists authorised sellers of our ad inventory.
4. Analytics, attribution and crash reporting
We may use analytics, remote configuration, A/B testing, push messaging, install attribution and crash-reporting services such as Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play Services, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular, Branch, Facebook SDK, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Sentry, GameAnalytics or comparable providers. These services may set identifiers, collect the technical and usage data described above, and combine it with data from other sources to measure performance, prevent fraud and improve the game.
5. How we use information
- Operate, deliver, maintain and secure the game and its features.
- Save progress, coins, streaks, settings and (where offered) leaderboards.
- Serve, mediate, measure, cap and optimize advertising, including personalized ads.
- Measure installs, attribution, retention, engagement and revenue.
- Diagnose crashes, debug issues and improve performance and level design.
- Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, cheating, invalid traffic and violations of our terms.
- Respond to your support requests and send service or update notifications.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
Depending on your region, our legal bases are consent (advertising and analytics where required), performance of a contract (providing the game), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement) and legal obligation.
6. Device permissions the app may request
To keep things transparent and on the safe side, here is the broad set of permissions and device capabilities the app or its bundled SDKs may declare or request now or in future versions. Many are optional, requested only in context, and can be denied — denying a permission may disable the related feature but the core game will normally still work.
- Internet / network state / Wi-Fi state — load levels, ads, analytics and check connectivity.
- Storage / photos & media (read and write, scoped) — cache assets, save screenshots and ad creatives.
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — daily challenge reminders, rewards and service messages. You may disable them anytime.
- Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) — advertising and measurement.
- Billing — optional in-app purchases through Google Play.
- Vibrate — haptic feedback on answers.
- Wake lock / foreground service — keep the screen or a session alive during video ads or downloads.
- Receive boot completed / schedule exact alarm — restore scheduled reminders.
- Camera — only if you use an optional feature such as an avatar photo or a playable ad requiring it.
- Microphone / record audio — only for optional voice-input or interactive ad experiences.
- Approximate and precise location — only if you enable a location-based feature or grant it for location-based advertising; otherwise location is inferred approximately from IP.
- Query installed packages / cross-app promotion checks — used by some ad SDKs to avoid promoting apps you already have.
- Access to Google Play Games / sign-in — optional leaderboards and cloud saves.
- Request install packages / open external links — to open the store or a browser when you tap an ad.
You can review and revoke permissions in Android Settings → Apps → Quiz Garden → Permissions at any time.
7. Sharing and disclosure
We may share information with:
- Advertising, mediation, attribution and analytics partners described above.
- Hosting, storage, CDN, customer-support and email service providers.
- App stores and payment processors for purchases and refunds.
- Professional advisers, auditors, and potential acquirers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets.
- Law enforcement, regulators or other parties where required by law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of our services.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising practices may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under certain US state laws; where they apply, you may opt out as described in section 9.
8. International transfers, retention and security
Data may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States and the European Union, using appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described, to comply with law, or to resolve disputes — typically up to 24 months for advertising and analytics data unless a longer period is legally required. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your choices and rights
- Opt out of personalized ads: Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
- Reset your advertising ID at any time in the same menu.
- Change consent in the app's privacy or settings screen where the consent dialog is offered.
- Disable notifications in Android app settings.
- Access, correction, deletion, portability, objection and restriction — residents of the EEA/UK, Switzerland, Brazil, California and other regions with privacy laws may exercise these rights by contacting us. We will verify and respond within the period required by law.
- Remove the app and all local data: uninstall it — see the Uninstall Guide.
10. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it. Where the app is distributed to families audiences, ad requests are tagged accordingly and non-personalized ads are requested.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where required, by an in-app notice. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
12. Contact
